Did you not see the forearm to Ofas head hit first?

So sad and bitter.
He's absolutely correct. It was an easy red card to give. Ticks all the boxes.
Arguably the carrier dipped but only marginally. These days that’s a red.

The Wallabies have found space on the right too easily a few times.

I just rewound it to check this out and the Aussie player puts his hand on Ofa's chest, Ofa moving forward makes contact with the player's upper arm with his face (while hitting him in the jaw with his shoulder). Nothing in that I'm afraid.

Idiotic tackle (and no real effort to wrap). That freezeframe showed him as almost upright when making the tackle. How stupid do you have to be to do that at this point?

Ah they just showed a better angle, Whitelock's height never changes from the moment the guy starts to tackle. Dumb dumb dumb. Another easy red card.

first contact is again shoulder to chin. Arm use irrelevant. same red as a result.

That tackle (lack of arms) looked the worse of the two.

The lack of arms just speaks to how out of control he was. Agree it's irrelevant for the on-field sanction, but it might impact the citing commission's view of the two events.
