Was the drive early? It looked spot on timing wise to me

So the ref said he noted the Aussie antagonised the situation to get a reaction.

Then he reversed it because the Argie reacted.

Problem with this is that the antagonist wouldn’t have been spotted without the reaction.

Aus might as well just keep doing that all day

Hooper being a twat. How many times should the ref have to explain?

Hooper is a whiney f**k. Doing a great job of antagonising the ref.

Considering the territory and possession, I have no idea how it's only 3 points difference.

Ah well. Let's see what happens 2nd half. Tough for the Pumas when their lineout is like less than 50% effective.

Which is hard to credit, given how dysfunctional the the Wobs line out has been.

That said, much/most of the Wobs' line out problems are due to poor throwing...

Wobs' deficiency in catch / pass skills might have a wee bit to do with it

This. For all their possession and scrum dominance, the passing has been uniformly poor: as bad as NZ last week. Some credit to Arg defensive pressure for it.

Well, that and the fact the ball is a bar of soap out there today.

Still anyone’s game this. Aussies should be way ahead but Argies just won’t roll over.

2nd half, here we go.

Unlike last week, their onfield kick (& chase when there has been any) has been poor. Better getting ball off park given Crims' lineout woes.

How's that not a pen. Even if play was live, not a tackle.

{EDIT} OK. Officials got it.

"didn't hear" but it's a no arms shoulder charge.

Exactly. Cheap shot from behind and some refs might have yellowed it.

Clear as day cheap shot, had some nerve trying to pass off as "Oh I didn't hear the whistle"

Still. And when wing should have kicked (after f**king up the high ball), he went all rabbit in headlights.

The rain just reminded me, this is the ground where Scotland beat Aus and Al Strokosch stuck the nut on Joe Ansbro in celebration at the end

Aus commentators whining ref got it wrong. Wasn't the ref's call.

A draw seems the right result but would take a Crims loss with the last play.

Pumas have replaced that constant thug Lavaninni (not sure of the spelling) with an even bigger meathead at lock.
