He will be heading off to Japan i reckon, a last big paycheck as he is reaching the end, i doubt any Prem or T14 side would have him in as first choice now, he would be playing second fiddle which goes against his whole character.

Two games cancelled. Exeter Toulouse and Glasgow Lyon
EPCR will convene Match Result Resolution Committees to determine the results of the cancelled matches.

Interesting time to change things up. Thought the internationals might be rested for Prem games. There are five changes to the starting 15 that beat Dragons last time out.
Wasps’ international quartet of Dan Robson, Will Rowlands, Jack Willis and Joe Launchbury are rested. In their places come Will Porter, Tim Cardall, Ben Morris and James Gaskell respectively.
The only other change sees Ben Harris return from injury to start at loosehead prop.
Tom Willis also makes his way back from the injury he picked up against Gloucester in November, to take his place amongst the replacements.
Also notable that performances from the first couple of games of the season seem to have sent Ben Vellacott down the pecking order.
Saints team to face Leinster. Furbank at 10 is an interesting choice.
15 Tom Collins
14 Ryan Olowofela
13 Fraser Dingwall
12 Rory Hutchinson
11 Taqele Naiyaravoro
10 George Furbank
9 Tom James

No idea what the plan is. I'd suspect his basics as a hooker aren't necessarily up to snuff if Taylor, Cruse and Oghre are ahead of him for a spot there.
Equally it could be that with certain injuries and absences in the back row recently we need an extra body in the back row and he's got the attributes to be most effective there compared to the others.

Looks likely that Newcastle are about to go 4 from 4
Got a feeling January is going to be really messy for this type of stuff.

Newcastle to chalk up another win then?
I'd have called you a liar and a fantasist if, at the start of the season, you'd told me they'd be 4 from 4.

Yep, unless they decide to go off reservation, I think the pre agreed point split for this eventuality is 4/2. With the 2 points for the team at 'fault'sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 10:11 pm Newcastle to chalk up another win then?

Teams for the games actually going ahead.
Harlequins v Bristol
Exeter vs. Gloucester
Northampton vs. Worcester
Sale vs. Wasps
From the Wasps pov, the AJ Bell is not a happy hunting ground and I'm not sure this is the team to redress the balance, though I appreciate Blackett giving the non-first choice players, particularly the young half back pair, more game time. The absence of our internationals, particularly Robson, for much of this season so far has revealed that we need their understudies and the rest of the team to learn how to get by without them.

Game over.
First useful thing I've seen Adeolokun do since Pat Lam chucked him a sympathy contract.

Far from guaranteed for most of the game, but a BP win is a great way to get over their terrible run.
I keep seeing Odogwu doing good things in highlights. How's he doing throughout the match? Likely to be a regular in the 13 shirt?sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 11:08 am
