I spoke too soon, it's gotten heavy here too, luckily I don't have to drive anywhere. My Mrs does, and I'm not sure her little Picanto is designed for snowy weather 😁☃️

Same in N Hertfordshire and still going!
Just back from a 5 mile walk around the edge of town. Why does a couple of inches of snow make everthing look so much nicer?
Just needed the pub with a roaring open fire and a decent pint to make it perfect
Oh well

We had enough to build a snow... mutant in the back garden, plus a snowball fight. Did more for my mental health than a month of therapy.

Running low on supplies. Great God! This is an awful place.

Update: Supplies issue eased. Found beer in the garage.

Had an unpleasant night shift last night, it was indeed fucking freezing, which doesn't help with the digging.

We live just south of the Pentland Hills. Had between 10 and 12 inches of snow over two nights earlier in the week.

Of course, the snow has started to melt and has been compacted down by tramping feet, so it's like glass out there now.

Surrey/Hampshire borderlands and we had significantly more than a dusting, a good 3 inches or so which seems to have mostly stuck around. Houses and ground still covered, though everything seems to have melted off the trees so I imagine the rest will be soon to follow provided the sun hits it. That rules out most of our garden at the moment.
