Not an entertaining picture but I don’t know where else to post it
The old boys were still using those in the hopfields when I was a very young lad living Kent

Top L: Bass/Synth (Kicked out of the band for substance abuse that's OTT even for the 80s, appears at the Big Reunion Gig for Charidee before dying a short while later)
Top R: Drums (Massively professional in attitude and becomes a hugely sought after session musician and plays for major names on their world tours)
Bottom L: Vocals (Ego breaks up the band, but keeps the name and tours with a revolving door of hired guns of middling talent)
Bottom R: Guitar/Synth (The one who writes the tunes, marries a B level girl band member and occasionally appears on Jools Holland with his jazz band as he is nicely living off the royalties from near constant airplay of their three big hits, plus some canny property deals made as he looked for somewhere to put the cash as the band split up)

Were you the manager?
Mercilessly mocked…until it started winning. The 1917 Golden Submarine was Harry Miller's first enclosed race car and was made with a "safety" cage after the death of driver Bob Burman. It won 17 of the 35 races it ran and set every international dirt-track speed record.

Well, it being the only marginally interesting thing to see in that dull abomination of a capital city, no wonder it is crowded with hordes of people seeking shelter from that constant drizzling rain and wind outside.
