Wasps get away with one on the pass there a bit, but the after work from Bassett and Feikitoa deserved to be rewarded.

I know it;s easy to play champagne rugby when you;re 48-7 up, but some of Saints handling is ridiculous

Ribbans, Mitchell, Freeman, Sleightholme have all been outstanding.

Four tries for Sleightholme. Feeling a little sorry for Worcester, Saints were on top but the Ashton sending off effectively killed the game.

Bizarre end to the game. Ended 13 a side with LI winning 36 - 33 after another LI yellow.

Spencer missed touch with an injury time pen going for too much distance into the LI half.

Paul Hill is really enjoying himself.

Sleightholme is the Saints player I'm most excited about. He's got the higlights reel, but the most impressive thing about him is how he always makes the right decision and puts himself in the right place, he's so consistent . You don't get that with many young players.

Brookes annihilates Shields with a shoulder to the head when coming in to help out at a tackle. Hell of a friendly fire incident.

Have to say, the momenty of the day for me was seeing Grayson chip over the top for Hill to take it on the run. Absolutely bonkers stuff, reminiscent of wee-Tam

Ha, yeah it made me smile. Finishes 62-14.

Mad yellow in the Sale game. Bassett steps Luke James, slips, and a mid torso tackle becomes a tap on the jaw as James tries to pull out. No force whatsoever, massive change in height.

Have to say I think that’s a harsh one as well. I know the principle with going with one hand, but he’s not a million miles away from taking that under the sticks at the other end

I missed the first 15 of this half due to an internet outage, but it seems I haven't missed much other than a couple of cards.

Making a real meal out of playing 13 men...

Sale are working really hard to give us this game. It's a mark of how shit we are that we're taking the points against 13.

Ah, that's a shame for them. Good on Donny though. It's a lovely setup they've got there. Really decent place to catch a game.

Some very harsh decisions against Fekitoa and Odogwu leading up to a yellow for Wasps and sale with a try

Wasps making Quins' day a little bit worse. Useless fucks. A masterclass in how not to play against 13/14.

That’s objectively funny.

Wasps really were clueless

Seething. Sale never should have been in position to score that try, thank you very much officials.

That said, it serves us right for failing abjectly to take advantage of Sale's numeric disadvantage.

They were very harsh - but Wasps should have put the game beyond reach - they were awful in the 2nd half against 13 men for a good amount of time. I think it's going to be a long season for us now, having completely lost touch with the top sides. Just doesn't seem to be clicking for them atm - too many errors and poor decision making in the 22.

Absolutely brilliant from Sale in the face of more than a fair bit of adversity. We were missing a fair few key players and came through, with our kids more than holding their own. Ashman, Quirke, and Rodd have great futures ahead of them and Cam Neild might be the most undervalued player in the premiership. Good to see the du preez twins finally work together properly in the back row, and Rob finally find his kicking feet.

Deano back at Welford Road and there’s a pre match scrap. Already justified switching off the cricket

Seems like Sanderson's doing a good job of engaging the wider squad a bit more than Dimes did.

Healy's not wrong, that Steward tackle certainly warranted a check.

I appreciate that coming in at the side is a technical offence, but when it has such a destructive outcome on another player, surely there must be some leeway to have a look at it?

Quite officious reffing, killing Newcastle

A pen for Newcastle, something of a collector's item this game.

It strikes me, as we look at them following that massive hit on Wiese, that most of Falcons' pack have exactly the same haircut and beard.

Did Hodgson think they were under advantage? Kick was a poor option.

What is Dickson's problem here? That's very obviously taking someone out who has nothing to do with the play.

Dickson is just not a very good ref, seems to miss a lot and take against sides very early on
