Like that call from Barnes, it was the legal impact that put him in touch, but then does ride high.

The old combination of one team being very good and the other being utter shite.

Surprised he won't get picked for another 40 caps for England by Eddie based on that club form.

Whats the craic with covid bubbles? Does this rule Redpath out of pumping England next week?

Nah, the neck contact came before he went into touch. Barnes was so desperate to not call it high. Still not sure it was a penalty try but Barnes had to be cajoled into giving the penalty.
This has been dismal by bath.

775 to 118 metres made. They will be adjusted, but that's insane

45 missed tackles is quite impressive too
edit: Priestland made 3 and missed 7

Yep, that's not pretty either.
That's all she wrote. That was a nasty game for Bath

It's not entirely clear where Bath go from here, the last couple of losses weren't great, surrendering leads, but this was abject.

Second half of Saints - Glaws has been a lot better so far, a few nice tries scored.

Confidence seeping back into the Saints lads. Still very suspect in defence mind

True, but baby steps on the road to improvement.
Glaws look like they'll need a miracle to swing this one.

A BP win after 5 weeks without a game must be pretty welcome even for our curmudgeonly Northampton crew?
Looks like Exeter only squeeked past Worcester.

No self interest in them pressing for no relegation then.
It's win-win. Relegation and bye bye Glaws. No relegation and Sarries can stay down.

Or there's no relegation and the prem is expanded.

Seems a highly unlikely scenario with Sarries backhanded dealings. Everyone is screaming congestion and concussion so it would be
a hard one to justify.

TRP linking Dean Ryan to the Quins job this morning. Sure that would go down well.

Sarries are still a shareholder in PRL and I read somewhere that Trailfinders could "buy" their way in if the price was right and the RFU would rubber stamp it.
Fuck the lot of them.

Rugby seems incapable of learning that unsustainable spending is what got us all into this mess. Post COVID is going to be very interesting.

Teams for the pick of today's games
Pretty strong, best we can put out between international call ups an injury list that now includes Bassett
. Our Watson brother managed to tweak his achilles last week on his return appearance which is rotten luck.
Quins look pretty well set to me, how they react to Gustard's departure will be interesting.
Being at home I reckon we've got maybe a 10 point winning margin in us.

How long do you get to actually put it down??? That's surely more than an immediate placement after the tackle is complete?

Sopoaga needs to fucking go. His defensive play is deteriorating and he's not doing anywhere near enough in attack to mitigate.
Good fight from Porter to try and hold him up, but ultimately that's a really well worked try finished off by Care.
It's early days, but things look bad for us at this point. Quins are on fire right now.

Wasps are going to need to stage the mother of all comebacks. I thought we were getting over the need to have Launchbury and Robson on the field to know what we're tryign to do...
Fair play to Quins, though, haven't seen them play like this in a while. If it were against someone else it'd be nice to see.
