HIA didn’t come back on. His brain is farked, had some horrendous knocks and never lasts a game. Negligent.
Jesus. Someone needs to retire him if he won't do it himself. Won't know his own name by 40 at this rate.

Agree on Francis, first game back, fails a HIA. He really should retire for his own safety. Hopefully Boyd will stop pissing around with a 6-2 bench now, finished the game a back down, with Biggar struggling and Mitchell on the wing.

Well perhaps Worcester should spend time working out how to play rugby rather than just signing Van de Merwe and Sutherland on big money and expecting them to make a difference

It's very frustrating, as Worcester bring through some decent players from their academy as well as their signings, but can't seem to get the coaching side of things right.

Even Falcons have managed to move away from being constant basement dwellers, but Worcester never seem to manage it.

Don't get me wrong, all blame for getting thrashed sits squarely on the shoulders of Worcester and, frankly, I'm coming round to the idea of keeping the league at 12 teams and ditching them.

They have a history of splurging money on a few signings and hoping that'll sort them out.

When you've been as bad as them for as long as they have been it's difficult to attract good coaches and players. Moreso the latter, though, I would've thought. A player can have a couple of years at a crap team and still get picked up by someone better provided they weren't personally too poor. Coaches don't tend to get the same leeway.

They have some injuries too, but still...

Splurge on your pack and a 9. They had Hougaard who won games for them before and i can't imagine wasps are paying him a huge amount as 2nd choice with good backups already.

They have brilliant facilities though so you would hope that would count for something.

The old owners, who I know very well, only really had it as a play thing, but I hoped the new ones might move the club forward

LI will be looking to extend their impressive winless streak on the road to Exeter in today's televised game. A few injuries at 7, so a debut for Tom Pearson. Think they're trying to recreate the Alex Dombrandt magic, as he's also been plucked from BUCS rugby with Cardiff Met this summer.

Staunch defence from Irish there. This is why I'm a fan of the drop out law change, that kind of D deserves rewarding and if you want to avoid it as an attacker, maybe try getting the ball wide where there might be some space rather than smashing into a collection of forwards over and over again.

Congrats, Irish. Bonus point wins down at Sandy Park don't come around often.

More ambitious in attack and thoroughly deserving of the result.

Some rumblings in the press (well, it appears to be from the rugby paper, if my third hand report is correct) that Bruce Craig is looking to sell up at Bath, apparently with James Dyson waiting in the wings.

Not sure that constitutes progress.

Bookmakers not even offering odds on a Saracens win today. That's a bit harsh on Wasps.

Yes, read that in TRP.
Dyson is already a major sponsor at Bath.
Not sure a change of ownership will make any difference unless they bring in a wiser, more experienced DoR and a change of culture.

Craig is very wealthy but he's not Dyson level wealthy is he?

Dyson is Lansdowne level wealthy I think.

And now we've lost Cruse again, so a loanee from Doncaster runs on to play hooker.

Not quite, he's missed the last 3 due to a head injury, this was his return.

At least we get Oghre back from suspension next week.

Well at least we didn't concede a try bonus point in the first half unlike some teams have in games this season.

Already used four of the bench, three for injury.
