He had sex with her on Epstein's island which is in the U.S. Virgin Islands where the age of consent is 18.

Moreover, this wasn't consensual sex by any definition. Epstein trafficked her to his various properties around the world, had sex with her at them (which he paid for) and then demanded she have sex with various friends of his, such as Andrew. This is criminal rather than unsavoury.
