Re: U20 Six Nations Summer Seriers

Honestly, I wasn't impressed by any of the teams in our group - they all have massive flaws that could be easily exploited by any half-decent team. Having said that I didn't watch the games from the other pool so it could be the same story there.

Re: U20 Six Nations Summer Seriers

Wonder if they'll ever implement the swiss format in Rugby. Looks pretty interesting and u20 seems like the best spot to test it. Definitely preferable to this type of group format IMO. Would probably work well for this type of competition where all the teams are in the same location. Wouldn’t work...

Re: U20 Six Nations Summer Seriers

Yea this generation got really screwed over by covid. Many teams lack basic skills. Feels like the level of rugby I played in college(utterly dreadful). I hope everyone can rebound quickly.

Were you born a fucking arsehole on did you work on it, your cunting parents must be overjoyed Dude, we lost to a better team on their home turf, good contest considering our recent form. I've had it up to here with these clueless commentators and their "strong Georgian scrum" BS... You're a decade late mate we shifted from scrum to backs about ten years ago ffs. And it's every commentator on Georgia games, that's literally one thing they know about Georgia and it's fuckin...

Re: Elite and Challenger Leagues

Fuck you lot are like a bunch of girls. The July/Nov internationals will only be played in a competition format. No really big changes. No tests between T1 and T2 - Georgia gets cut even though it's top 12 in rankings and promotion playoff will only happen if "T1 teams are sure the D2 is profi...

Re: Ref moaning and bitching thread

Well if we're bitching about ref's take a look at Fiji cynically targeting Georgian #8 - He was arguably the best player on the field. Cynical no hands high tackles at 4:00' (Gorgadze with the scrum cap) https://youtu.be/R7dkIp_xsoQ?t=4884 and 15:10' https://youtu.be/R7dkIp_xsoQ?t=5713 He also misse...

So I bought Cyberpunk and somehow I was lucky enough not to get any serious bugs (few floaty cars here and there, a couple of people walking thru closed doors but that was about it. So the Positives. The visual atmosphere is amazing, the characters are great, the city itself is gigantic and overall ...

Re: Eddie Jones thinks England are Italy (or Japan)

Why the apparent change - deliberate or result of changing demographics? I'm all for different teams having the confidence to play their way well and keep some differentiation in playing styles. Forcing the oppo to deal with big lugs up-front can such the defence in so that there are more gaps acro...

Re: Eddie Jones thinks England are Italy (or Japan)

These outdated myths about Georgia keep circulating every year. The golden era of Georgian forwards is gone. It started in 2003 and ended in 2015. Now it's all mobile fellows who have been through the U21 World Cup. The selection at the youth level has also shifted from Gargantuan dinosaurs to more ...

Re: Is Stalin an underrated figure in history?

Bolsheviks helped Hitler Consolidate power in the beginning. Even their special forces were trained by NKVD. Not to mention the whole Molotov-Ribbentrop thing. As for Stalin being Georgian, he had a serious grudge against his own country because he was rightfully seen as scum and a criminal. His rec...

Re: Is Stalin an underrated figure in history?

If Stalin hadn't been around, Soviet Union may well have collapsed into anarchy or another leader like him would have stepped up. Middle East post Saddam is a good illustration of how precarious a balance of power can be. When Lenin died there were plenty of Mensheviks and social democrats still ar...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

That's a very strong team. A very big front row, a very dynamic back row, a very exciting running back three. I'm looking forward to this. We really should expect to thrash Georgia and we should seek to put down a serious marker we can all point to when the inevitable relegation from the 6N chat ma...

So I feel like absolute shit right now. I'd been running systematically for the last 3 years or so. I peaked last fall when I ran 25km in 2:10 without much trouble, felt like I had endless energy in general. I relaxed a bit in winter(to one day a week) which I usually do, thinking I'd pick it back ...

There was a good thread on this lost to the mists of time. Whether e-sports are "sports" is kinda irrelevant to me, but they are absolutely fascinating. Things in e-sports favour: A genuinely level playing field. Everyone has access to exactly the same things the pros have bar super expen...

Re: When is a sport not actually a sport?

I love competitive e-sports. Very easy to get hooked if you enjoy those kind of games already (I love strategy games like Starcraft 2). It’s fascinating to see the combination of skill and strategy at the top. I realise this makes me an epic geek but I don’t really care. There was a good thread on ...
