Re: Official United Rugby Championship thread

The Lions were simply superb. I don’t know when last I saw a 14 man side dismantle the opposition so effectively. (The sharks away to Otago in the 90s maybe. )They did not miss a beat. Just got stuck in and nullified the dodgy officials. That 7 man pack was awesome.

I'm assuming Deepsouth is AC's account on here? Not so sure. AC (unlike this sad, insecure wee ocker) actually knew a bit about rugby, and actually had a sense of humour. All this guy does is spout irrelevant, jingoist nonsense and whack a laughing emoji at the end of every post. Oh well, at least ...

On defence always call for the ball and go for the catch and mark it in the 22

On offence go for the catch but slap it back if it looks dodgy - trust the player’s instinct.

Can’t pretend a Wigglesworth run attack sparks any joy, but how on earth can anyone create an attack that causes any issues at all if you’re going to make 20-25 handling errors in a game? You are right - it is silly it was not my intention in posting that pic to start a Boer war kerfuffel. If I were a rugby coach my first rule would be that neither 9 or 10 kick goals ever . I had a look. Apparently the youngest of the Bermuda POWs was aged 6.
