So did NZ suddenly become the spiritual guardians again or are Italy back to being the turd on the sole of the 6N?

Really didn’t want to go JMK here:

1) because we have been In similar situations

2) Sturginho is a top bloke who doesn’t deserve it

But this is fucking pathetic from Italy, absolutely gutless shite from a 6N team.

Mehh. None of us is responsible for his team's debacles or, in this case (from the mins I've seen), abject surrender.

Anyone who takes criticism of the team's performance personally on a night like this is being very silly. I'm a Quins and England fan, I have plenty of expertise in gleefully mocking horrible performances by teams I'd really rather see play well.

Sturginho just bit on the "embarrassing the 6N" line, that's all.

This Italian team lack the excuse of being wank as well, they can and have player much much better than this

Are Italy actually running backwards in the scrums?

This is one of those meltdown performances that suggests selection is irrelevant - something very fundamental went very very wrong somewhere. Preparation, scandal, a huge bust up... This sort of thing usually has a cause

This is a worse margin than the Namibia game...

Seriously, Namibia would put up a better performance than this bunch of spackers.

All that aside, there isn't a team on the planet that would rack up this score in this situation. The All Blacks are built differently - even the current somewhat questionable team

At least Namibia tried to tackle. There should be a stewards' enquiry.

This could be worse than 1999! (I forget the score, 101-7 I think)

I think every team has experienced a shellacking at the hands of the ABs at some point, after 50 it doesn't really make much difference

They looked well up for it before kick off, just unbelievable.

Re your other point, yes, no team keeps going line NZ

A 6N or 4N team losing a ton should see heads roll but I guess Crowley is leaving anyway.

I don’t know, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a capitulation like this from a tier 1 team

Not sure they've said. Just didn't renew his deal.

Don't agree with that. 50 or 60 can happen. We've seen tier 1 nations do that to each other on occasion, though usually with more points scored by the loser.

70 or 80 is beyond just being embarassed and drags you down into minnow tier 2 status. 90+ is unacceptable. It's a potential career breaker if only for what it can do to a player's psyche.

France shipping 59 at home to the Aussies in 2010 was up there. And I was at that one too :shifty:

Shame, really wanted to see the hundred, Carley missed an obvious seatbelt tackle on DMac.
