I guess they probably need an additional experienced loosehead.
Shame they've released young Tarek Haffar. Thought he was a very promising prospect.
Aaaah! Hadn't heard that. Happy for him to stay in the Prem even with the "enemy" as I think he is a potential England prospectOxbow wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 3:17 pmYou say released, but rumour is Tigers have thrown a shitload of money at him.SaintK wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 3:10 pm Saints have signed Italian loosehead Danilo Fischetti

I know they claim Rodd, Dingwall and F.Smith. Vaguely recall something about Roebuck being Scottish qualified.Yeeb wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:53 pmWhich four ? I don’t know too much about current players heritage for England, just Scotland being saffa B team

Bad teeth and diabetes qualifies you as Scottish as well.
To be fair, surname like "Pater" is just wasted in England, so we'll have him. Also Henry Laidlow and Hugh Shields. Not interested in an Oscar Appleby or Lumley and a Branch-Holland or Ogden-Metherell will not fit in.Tichtheid wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:27 pmSaintK wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 11:56 amNot too many Scottish sounding names but I bet there some with Scottish granparents in there somewhereKawazaki wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:36 am

Oh come on we’ve surely all met a Sloaney Caledonian Club type with a double barrelled name who has a father that employs said gamekeeper, and an ancestor who was tragically struck down with tummy ache the morning of Cullodengeordie_6 wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 4:33 pmOnly thing double barrelled in Scotland are the gamekeepers shotguns.Slick wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 4:23 pmTo be fair, surname like "Pater" is just wasted in England, so we'll have him. Well, they've certainly left a lasting impression on you since you appear to be replaying the encounters constantly in your mind.
It's not healthy way to go about your day to day.

What's the problem with that ?
I mean; "I hope you chaps can sleep tonight ?", is hardly an actionable question, is it ?

Well something needs to happen. I'm not sure the current admin have it within them to come up with anything worthwhile or workable, but the game is not in rude health. It cannot sustain a second tier as vibrant as the ProD2, which is what's needed if we're going to persist with the idea of promotion and relegation. The Premiership desperately needs to get back up to 12 teams asap.
To be fair to Dimes, we've all felt like that about Squidge from time to time.lemonhead wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 7:15 amStill mad shite that he bothered to seek out Squidge rugby's mobile number, rings him up and goes full mental over a throwaway joke online.duke wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:07 amDiamond is one of those characters who could make “Good morning” sound like a threatfishfoodie wrote: Wed Apr 16, 2025 10:06 pm
