Re: Lions Squad - Who's In?
Seen some stuff on Twitter about possibility of ‘all Ireland’ coaching team inc Sexton….
as mid 50’s Scotland fan the Lions has been irrelevant for last 20 years (Lord bald tour and then Gatlandball) - have ticket for first test and hoping we see a team worthy of the Lions name.

Re: Lions Squad - Who's In?
Kinghorn absolutely nailed the full back spot today and Russell reasserted his claim. I think all the Scots backs have put their hands up. Schoeman and Fagerson have damaged their chances. Can't see one Scottish forward, other than Ritchie who improved their chances. Much the same with the Irish pl...

Re: The Official English Rugby Thread
Ok no normally a poster on this thread (Bristol and Scotland fan) but thought here was most appropriate place for this comment. Stephen Jones’s(Sunday Times) consistent and highly personal attacks on Marcus Smith are, in my view, completely unacceptable and go against all of rugby’s values. For many...

Re: Lions Squad - Who's In?
Wales isn't going to have much representation, based on today, and can't see them looking much better against SA next weekend. The front row did well today, but I think the only players that stand out are Reffell and Jac Morgan - and as noted the backrow is going to be a tough choice for the select...

Think we get to keep them if we beat them this time. I forgot about the 2022 NZ match - it was the tour to NZ that was cancelled in 2020 that was maybe in my mind? 2022 was Hogg getting tackled by Barrett in the last few minutes and then them scoring (a penalty?) at the other end to take the match ...

England could also stop bending over to accommodate the TV kick offs and stop the late times, meaning Twickenham isn't full of completely pissed up twats on corporate jollies paying little to bo attention to the matches, and also meaning you can go for a meal post match at a decent hour. thats a mi...

Very predictable responses. None of which invalidate the position that many of the people/families impacted will not be ‘rich’. ‘Impacted’ ffs this is all financial upside for beneficiaries- the only ‘impact’ is they will receive a bit less - many people -less than 4% the population? - how do you d...

They sacked Jonathan Thomas to get Howley in. So this could probably mean, once again...that Gatland is going to coach the Lions and Howley is going to coach Wales the year leading up to them..again... Knew we couldn't rely on the WRU or Gatland to put Wales first. Gartland's shite rugby has almost...

To be fair my golf in US has mostly been limited to Florida and South Carolina, played about 50+ courses and base my descriptions on them. Every course has an island green par 3, a par 5 around a lake, a dogleg short par 4, a lake on 18th hole with a big fountain in the middle, big fairway bunkers ...

Borthwick completely narrrowed Englands focus to kick/kick chasing, maul defence and tackling...I would be surprised if an attacking move was practised all week. SA had no idea what to do against a teams refusing to play against them and actually being better physically (scrums last 20 minutes asid...

Re: The Official English Rugby Thread
Would be genuinely hilarious if we made it through, but boy are we second best on paper. Especially in the front row. To win something absurd will need to happen or we'll have to drag them into a really messy game. As an aside, I'd appreciate it if Borthwick would give Arundell a run, given that no...

You'd need to have an income of just over £112K per year over twenty years and pay absolutely no tax in order to accumulate a tax bill of £700K. Presumably he did pay some tax because HRMC would have been on him well before now, if that is the case then the £700K is a shortfall I mean this is it - ...
